2017 International Bebras Tasks Workshop

Brescia, Italy, May 29th - June 2nd

The 2017 International Bebras Tasks Workshop will be hosted by the Department of Computer Science, Università degli Studi di Milano, and will be held in Brescia, Italy, from Monday May 29th to Friday June 2nd 2017.

The main purpose of the workshop is to prepare the international task base for the national Bebras contests, which will take place in November 2017 in more than 50 countries.


Please use the registration form to fill in the dates of the participants of your country. It is intended that we will have two participants per country.

If you need an invitation letter in order to obtain the italian Visa, please fill in the relevant data in the form.

Tasks preparation and review

The Board is preparing some guidelines for the preparation and submission of tasks and reviews; in the meanwhile please refer to the Pre-Workshop Review Process Document (Chapter 2 in particular) approved in 2015 in St. Polten during the Bebras Workshop.

Travel information

Brescia is about:

Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport is a common destination for several low cost companies. If you plan to arrive there, take a bus shuttle (navetta) to Brescia or go to the Bergamo City Railway Station by bus or taxi and take a train to Brescia (one train per hour, 1 hour travel time).

Both Milano-Linate and Milano-Malpensa airports are well linked with Milan City (by train or buses) and once there you can take a train to Brescia (40/70 minutes travel time, depending on the chosen train). There are bus shuttles too from Milan airports to Brescia. Please take a look to the airport websites.


The fee includes all conference facilities (including internet, group rooms and a plenum room), coffee breaks, meals (including special diet if requested), and accommodation in single room at 340€ or double room at 273€ (each).

Further meals (lunch and dinner) will be charged 15€ each. Further nights will be charged 60€ in single room or 40€ in double room (each).
